Comments and thoughts......

Greetings all, I wanted to pass on some information.....

First of all, I enjoyed meeting some of the new folks at practice today. It was also nice to see some of the folks I haven't seen in awhile.

I have been out of pocket since August and I'm sorry I haven't kept in touch better. Life has just been getting the better of me.

That aside, I volunteered to be "Secretary" at the meeting today. Call it my contribution to the team where I can give it.

To that end I am trying get a complete list of personnel...it's a task that Woodie has started and has been having trouble getting completed so I told him that I'd work on it. I need your real name, your call sign, an e-mail address, and a phone number. Please send it to me at paul.fiero@gmail.com (do not post it here). We need this information not just for our contact list but also so that Petty Paintball knows if you are on the team.

Let me clarify something in my last post.....

I said Woodie has been having trouble getting the personnel list done.

The problem he is having is not that he can't do it...it is that no one is responding to him.

Something that I've seen happen in recent times in paintball is that people are excited about joining a team...about reaping the rewards of being on a team, but they aren't interested in or willing to do what is asked of them in return. This is what Woodie is experiencing.

I commend Woodie for stepping up and doing the work he has done so far. Thank you Woodie.

Due to recent events....Corporal Punishment will be going through alot of changes...

We will be accomplishing alot but we need a greater attendance...As it stands I have two XO's and two SSGTs

I will be assigning certain Tasks to my Lts and Sergeants.

The February 21st Practice was all in all successful. I know we all like to knock off, but from now on in Team Meetings, no horseplay. We all dont want to sit there for two hours when we can be there for less.

This Practice the Roll Call was at 9 members. I am somewhat disappointed. The only excused members were those that were in contact with Myself or Woodie.

I would like to have a good showing to help PJ move on saturday. I am working double shifts on Fri and Sat and WILL STILL BE THERE!!!

I will say I am proud of the guys that showed up. All in all it was a good practice.

Guys remember that rank is a privilege not a right. You have to earn it. The more you show me you want it the greater your chance.
